Only when they interfere with important things, like how people try to live their everyday lives without interference from idiots with power who want to foist things on them and fleece them into so much debt that it seals the doom of our country and way of life. But otherwise, it's all good... -

I'm sure that will be set up and running by next summer. We should see if Pete Buttigieg wants to be in charge of that, to help push it along. Although he may balk because rockets emit too much greenhouse gas. -

The other issue with widespread EV adoption is the amount of rare earth minerals needed for the batteries, as well as the amount of metals needed for the upgraded electrical infrastructure. Materials mining would have to accelerate at a rate never before achieved. -

Couldn't tell ya. I doubt anyone has done an accurate, detailed comparison. The primary CPU of a Tesla is either an AMD Ryzen (made in Taiwan), or an Intel Atom (probably Ireland), with either sitting in a motherboard made in PRC. The vast majority of the lesser integrated circuits... -

I'm sure you'll tell us which states have the factories that make the ICs, switches, motors, and glass displays found in a Tesla. Certainly, some of the same places your buttonless phone comes from. -

I think we're speaking of the majority of the marketplace for ground transportation, rather than hobby enclaves (like dragsters, high performance street cars). You are interested in getting adrenaline rushes from high performance cars, and that's fine. I haven't been entertained by that aspect... -

Was it Fuhrman? I thought it was someone who tampered with OJ's DNA blood sample and added it to the bloody sock, not realizing that there were anti-coagulant chemicals in the test tube that would show the blood last came from a lab rather than directly from a wound.- rbstern
