Item Description: Going to offer up my sons and my project car. We got this to be a father son project, but he has lost interest in it, and I am not motivated to put any more money into it.

It is currently tagged and insured in the state of Georgia to me, so a tag transfer will be easy breezy.

It is a 1973 Dodge Dart Swinger. When we first got it it had a bad transmission. I spent a grand and had Joe's Transmission in Rome completely rebuild the tranny and now it shifts like a champ.

The car has a 225 slant 6 that purrs like a kitten.

As I said, it is tagged and insured and it can be driven. However it needs some things before I would drive it very far.

  • Someone ripped out the fuel tank and put a 8 gallon fuel cell in the trunk. It works, but I think the car needs a fuel tank. I purchased a new filler neck, trunk plate for filler neck, tank straps, etc. A new tank is 130 bucks on ebay and my son was supposed to buy that, but he didn't. If you buy the tank, I have everything else you need to put it in the car.

  • The exhaust is broken off behind the drivers seat. So if you sit at a traffic light a bit too long, you may die. LOL. I was going to have it extended back out the back of the car, but didn't want to do it before I put the fuel tank in so it wouldn't be in the way.

Headlights and tail lights work, although some of the bulbs in the back are burnt out. Blinkers also work, but again some bulbs need to be replaced.

It needs new floor pans and some upholstery work of course too.

Here are a bunch of pictures.

Looks a lot like the tomato red Plymouth scamp my sister got when she turned 16. I think her's was a 318. She trashed and ultimately totaled it. Cool cars. Glad.
