Item Name: FS/FT Harley FXRP

Location: Mableton

Zip Code: 30126

Item is for: Sale or Trade
Sale Price: $4500

Caliber: 1340cc, V-Twin EVO

Willing to Ship: NO

Bill of Sale Required?: Yes, I will have one for both of us to sign

Billing Information:

Item Description: I have a 1989 FXRP that has been sitting in the garage a while, and the wife says it has to go.

I can get it running, but it will need a new battery and tires.
Has S&S carb, drag pipes, dual disks in the front, and Andrews gears.
Had a top end rebuild about 150 miles ago.
Comes with original pipes and carb, a lift and repair manual.
I hate to see her go, but someone else can do her better than me.

PM is best.

How many miles?
Who did the top end, and what was done? Any paperwork?

For that price, does it reall matter? LOL

From the standpoint of a former auto-mechanic with more than a couple engine rebuilds to his credit, yes, it matters a great deal. As far as I'm concerned, not having paperwork to support the claim of a properly performed top end rebuild would be a deal breaker for me.
Your statement; "For that price, does it really matter?" Well, if I had more money than brains, then I suppose it wouldn't.

Semper Fi!

I think it was Chix engine / machine shop that did the jugs, I tore it down, replaced gaskets, piston rings, plugs coils wires ect. and rebuilt it.
Same valves and pushrods.
