Hard to find 1957 Marlin 336 in .35 Remington Caliber, 22" barrel - $400

Oh, and to make it more exiting it is a "Texan"! (Straight stock like the Winchester '94)

Has been a workhorse and shows some wear on finish. Biggest issues are a scratch in the foregrip and a missing but plate (replacements readily available.)

FTF North side of ATL. With ID and BOS. (I may travel a bit to meet you.)

Trades?
Marlin Texan in 30/30
or S&W or Colt revolvers before 1980.
(For S&W .38/.357 the answer is most likely "no", unless it is really special.)
Other offers will be ignored.

A little more clarification, IIRC:
A Texan is a marlin 336's with a straight stock. Some are marked as such some earlier and later ones are not.
Marlin 1894's (The modern handgun calibers.) are normally straight stocked and not considered Texan.
I have not heard of model 39's with straight stock referred to as Texan but I may be mistaken on this.
I do not remember seing 1895's with a straight stock.

BTW: It has been sold.
