Do you know whether or not this one might be an armory reworked item?
Also is there an inspector marked/initialed stamp any where on the gun?
Pictures of the stamped codes on various parts would be helpful.
Thanks,
Dave
Great looking item, but the processing detail is a significant barrier to a possible purchase.
Is there not an easier way to proceed on a transaction and an exchange in the conclusion of a purchase?
I am local and a face to face transaction is readily available.
Thanks,
Dave
Can you provide some additional information on the condition and background on this item?
For example, is the nickel finish original or was the gun refinished at some point?
Can you share additional pictures of the various markings on the gun.?
What is the barrel measurement?
Does every function...
Can you provide some additional pictures of both the gun and the holster focusing on the markings, and the serial numbers of the magazines. Do all parts that are numbered on the gun match?
Thanks,
Dave

If you gun has any of those...
Thanks for that response. The rationing process during WW2 is an interesting historical subject and probably needs some further research, documentation and publication. I was an elementary school student during that era, but remember the trials and sacrifices that the general public in the USA...
Unfortunately the pictures are not very clear, but can you describe what type of material that they are made of. As I recall most of the WW2 ration booklets consisted of paper stamps.
Thanks,
Dave
