I lived in NYC when I was younger, but my studio was 500s/f. It was tiny. At the time, my work and friends were all in Manhattan so it made sense to get a tiny apartment in Manhattan.
Other reasons:
You only sleep and get ready at home. I spent most of my time outside. All I needed was a bed...
Wow, I think people are misunderstanding the original question/scenario. Outdoorsman87 stated how much ammo should one keep for pure storage until SHTF (not used for plinking, training, maintaining, or hunting).
What he means is bare minimum (untouched ammo)?
He might/will have more rounds for...
"Also pulled on the bullet and said they were loose in the cases and shouldn't be"
I had a lot of loose (maybe half of the bucket) bullets in the bucket o bullets....I believe this is normal for the bucket.
And they shoot perfectly straight.
I have bought/used/still have many Remington bucket o bullets (1400 rounds) and I have never seen a reloaded .22lr round. I have found 1 or 2 rounds that was crimped poorly or the sides were dented in. I can't believe someone would reload 1400 .22lr rounds...that is a crazy amount of work.
I only bought a few things here and haven't sold anything, but the people I bought from were very cool and respectful.
We negotiate a price, they pick a location, I text them my preferred dates and times, we agree to all.
Then I text my ETA before I leave the house/work, and I text them again...

For convenience, I was just grabbing any 50/100 round boxes and went to the range.
I never opened the bulk (500+) boxes because I was lazy.
The same for 9mm, 5.56, and .223.
My usually trip was:
1 or 2 boxes of...
This might be a very silly question, but can someone help me list out the most to least valuable .22lr ammo?
I have a lot of different types of .22 lr ammo (brand, weight, fps, etc).
I wanted to know the order so that if I needed to sell some ammo, I would be able to sell the least valuable...
