    At your age, I'd give completely opposite advice from Cadillaczack. Stay out of the market. The recent gains have been on very low trading volume, consumers aren't spending and most comp numbers only look good because last year was such a train wreck. Read about the Great Depression, how...

    Depends on the deal. Sometimes a trade just makes sense..it's even, or a little toward me - other times, cash is the way to go when the trade offers just aren't good. That's why I don't post trade vs. cash value...I just expect a certain amount in value - goods or cash.

    Mountains. Wife made me go to the beach for years. Finally got her converted to the mountains a couple of years back after she saw all the sharks in the water in the early morning from a high rise condo at Gulf Shores.

    I thought it would be cool, but that whole "three aggressive wanderers" show up stuff was ridiculous. The aggressive wanderers would have been beaten to death by the colony...but since it's all an act anyway, they have to come up with less violent/forceful options that just wouldn't be workable...
