    Just the value folders. The “better” steel knives are made in Golden Colorado USA Earth, Taichung Taiwan, or Seki City Japan depending on the model. The Taiwan made knives are actually some of the best. There are also a few still made in Italy too.

    Wal-Mart spyderco’s are likely part of the value folder line. They are made in China and sport 8CR13MOV steel. They actually aren’t bad knives for the money. Tenacious, Ambitious, Persistence, Resilience, etc. much better made than the Byrd line, but not as well put togeather or as solid blade...
