Damn..that must have been some impact. Just glad that you and your wife came through without physical injury. Having been through several myself I know the adrenaline can get going.
If they have GA drivers licenses (which sounds doubtful from the one month description) then it would be relatively easy ---if they are actually residents of TX I *believe* the only legal route would be sending it to a TX FFL.
Latest news says that investigators found evidence of "ongoing illicit activity" and based on his arrest record may be drug dealer targeted for drugs/cash.

When I was in FL it was nice that FDLE had a stolen firearms check page....not sure how often the database was updated but it would be great if the GBI did something similar.

I think in many instances people have to live through something negative that shapes their plans going forward....for example I grew up in FL and went through several hurricanes where we had no power for two weeks etc.
