    you have a nice gun there! i also have one and as you mentioned it has a great rep. i have had no problems with it. gun doesnt care what kind of loads you feed it. it cycles ANYTHING flawlessly

    i am looking for a barrel for a sears 12 ga. sxs. the stevens 311 will work. do you know by chance if that 5100 and the 311 are the same and interchangeable? my grandfather gave me this old sears double, my stupid brother sawed it off. now looking for a barrel.

    wow this is the first FIE sxs i have seen on here. people think that its a cheap gun! no way! inexpensive yes! but very well made in brazil. my dad used one forever then gave it to me. i have used it deer hunting and trap shooting! if i didnt have a 12 ga. i would jump all over that one...
