I guess just hoping that maybe a few other people will really think about the implications of this.
I will be honored, especially if it gives you the opportunity to explain why Willy isn't there. It may seem silly to you, but I think true supporters of the 2A would understand.
You swim and shower without a gun on you because that is your choice. A choice that you, for the time being, still have the freedom to make. Keep making concessions. Keep showing the public that you don't really "need" to carry a gun. Watch what happens. I can assure you that if you continue to...
I'm sorry you're not.
We need more true, unconditional, uncompromising 2A supporters in this culture. We're giving it away and we don't even realize it. It's a terrible, counterproductive thing to show the anti 2A public that we need and/or are ok with gun control at our own events. It's the...
$350 will get you a kit from summit racing that includes calipers, brackets, pads, rotors, hoses and hardware to do a complete 9inch. Judging by the looks of those calipers, it would be a sound investment.
Hard to read that part number, but I don’t see why you can’t track it down. Worst case you get calipers, rotors, pads and brackets for whatever calipers you pick. Good thing about a 9” is all the options you have.
So to summarize, “it’s real hard, so you shouldn’t try.”
The point isn’t whether or not he can get in. The point is whether or not he’s doing any and every thing he can to expose himself to the industry/community he wishes to be a part of. So what if they “don’t have time to talk to him??”...
It’s attitudes like his that stifle ambition. If you want to be in the firearms industry, don’t let some negative Nancy take recommendations out of context and prevent you from going to the largest trade show in the industry to see if you can’t rub elbows with someone who matters. That’s some...

I’ve turned down some really, really great job opportunities because of the travel required. Being self employed is 1,000 better anyway. I’m glad I turned them down because it paved the way to where I am now.
That kind of stuff is how you make the connections that may evolve into something more later. Get yourself in front of as many people as possible. If you're not a total asshat, one of them may like you.
If you can sell, you can sell anything. Product/industry knowledge is secondary to interpersonal & reasoning skills. I hate sales, but if I wanted to do it, it would just be about getting my foot in the door somewhere and that is all about who you know. If you have those skills, I don't think...
I grew up with a pool too. I don't recall my dad hating it because he didn't have to do anything. I did all the cleaning and water testing. I would stop on the way home from school and grab chlorine from the pool store occasionally, which I don't have to do now with the automated salt chlorine...
Yeah, I took down 13 oak trees in my backyard. Two of them because they were in the dig zone, 11 because they had leaves...
I left 3. I'm anticipating the likelihood of another call to the tree company about those next fall.
It's a terrible idea if you: 1) Can't really afford it. 2)Won't use it. 3) Have a problem with taking care of it.
I don't know why people act like they're tons of work, they're really not. I's a hell of a lot less work than say, cutting your own grass. I loathe cutting/trimming the yard, which...
