  4. Kropatschek Rifles anyone?

One has pretty fair rifling and the trigger guard is bent just a bit(not a big deal) and the other looks like its stock had been sanded at some point, barrel is pretty dark & gunky. I think a cash offer my get them cheaper. It worked buying a Berthier that way.
  5. Kropatschek Rifles anyone?

Thanks for the info! I may go in for one/or both of them.
  6. Kropatschek Rifles anyone?

Any of you fine gentlemen have any experience with kropatscek rifles? I’m looking at two up here at a local shop in Wasilla, AK. Ammo is available here and they look sturdy. I just don’t have any experience with them myself. For sub $500 per can I go wrong?
  7. Found it. Thanks.

If there’s anyone in the general vicinity of Gainesville that has a bit of 45LC ammo they’re willing to part with shoot me a message thanks, fellas.

    Old Guard!
  9. How is the milsurp market these days?

I picked up 5 hand selects from classic a few weeks ago when I was in town. Three out of five were great. As far as ammo, I’m still buying it $20-25 per 20 rounds at gun shows. Mostly PRVI ammo but it’s good and I like the SP variant. Original clips are the real issue to find for them. Some...
  10. How is the milsurp market these days?

Thanks bud. Yeah, I’m in and out a few months at a time. This will always be home but there’s too many people here
  11. How is the milsurp market these days?

I have been splitting my time between living here and property I bought in Alaska. No ammo shortage where I’m at up there, so I’ve been flat rate shipping stuff I need for back here, mainly 10mm & 5.56. I’m good on everything else. It’s been working out so far. the milsurp market is out of...
  12. How is the milsurp market these days?

Anyone heading down to the “big” show in Jonesboro. September 21st I believe is the date. I’ll be carrying around a few things that day. It’s a rare day off for me, so I thought I’d take advantage.
  13. How is the milsurp market these days?

Umm... soccer, basketball, cheerleading, air rifles, gymnastics, fencing, ballet, and all of that fun stuff with the kids. And the all powerful antiques racket—man, I’ve been busy.
  14. How is the milsurp market these days?

I’m probably going to be offloading at least three Garands in the next few weeks. I’ve been bitten by the 32acp bug again and have been buying and trading for old pistols, as well as German reichsrevolvers and Gew.98 rifles with Lange Vizier sights on them. Been seeing some decent items here...
  15. Winchester Model 12 Shotgun

    :bump:
  16. Winchester Model 12 Shotgun

looking for a Winchester Model 12 Shotgun. Only looking for 12 gauge. Preferably pre-1930(not a complete deal breaker if it isn’t). Preferably looking for 28”-30” barrel length. Wouldn’t mind a takedown. Don’t mind condition of the bluing as long as the wood is sound and it functions properly.
  17. French Berthier

the next time I travel for work I'll check the place I grabbed mine. They had 3 and 5 round clips as well as slings.
  18. The Official ODT CMP Garand Order Thread

Had some movement today on the January order for the RM1Field. I got the email asking if I wanted to upgrade to the RM1Service and I accepted with a sticky for GI wood. I figured what the heck....let's speed this process up a bit.
  19. Erfurt 1916 Kar 98 stock

Those are unfortunately made of unobtanium these days. Depending on how much money you want to put into the KAR http://www.fox-military.com is always an option. Also, I believe WZ-29 stocks fit the bill for temporary fixes...but they are also harder to find. There are a few Turk options that...
