    I just got an Iver Johnson .38 S&W top break serial # D666##. After doing something research, I found out the orientation of the owl's head on the grips were either facing the barrel, or like mine, facing the butt of the gun. Can anybody explain the difference and tell me the DOB? Thanks ---Jody13

    Anybody going to the gun show May 21-22 Savannah, Civic Center 301 Oglethorpe Ave Sat 9-5 Sun 10-5? I know it is an Eastman one & everybody has an opinion on them. I will be there on Saturday looking for FTF deal.:cool:

  7. Federal .45 ACP recall

    UPS came yesterday and picked up my recalled box of federal .45 ACP. It's been about 4 weeks since I talked to Federal. We'll see how long it takes to get the new ammo.:cool:

    I paid $3.11.9 at 0530 this morning and paid $3.33.9 for gas in St. Marys at 1700. WOW! Word has it the price jumped at the Jacksonville port by .25 cents today ---Jody

    We just returned from the Eastman Gun Show at the Savannah civic center. The aisles were no more than 6-7 ft wide and it was very hard to actually look at anything. My wife asked one dealer where he was from and he said New York, (she was shocked by the prices he had on his guns and he was hard...

    What was the pistol that Barney Fife carried? Was it a 4" Colt Official Police .38 Special or a Smith & Wesson .38 Special caliber M&P (Military & Police) revolver? I know it did not have target sights. ---Jody

    This has got to the best gun site in GA. I wish we had a way to sort the classifieds by the areas that we select (NE, SE, ATL etc). Model 36 followed me home yesterday from the gun show in Savannah. Great site. ---Jody

  13. Buying a pistol in Florida rules

    Help!! I am right on the Florida border. Can I buy a pistol FTF in Florida legally without going thru a FFL??? I have bought from Florida dealers and had shipped to FFL. I don’t have any problem with going thru a FFL, but what is the ruling. Thanks ---Jody

  14. Romanian AK-47 Picatinny rail scope mount

    Does anybody have the scope mount for a Romanian AK-47 that attaches to the left side for sale? I don’t want the original scope, just the mount to attach a regular scope on it. Picatinny rail would be nice so I can mount a Tru-glo. Hog hunting. Thanks ---Jody
