  1. What's your favorite holster?

I've settled on High Noon leather holsters for all my carry Glocks. They have great belts too. They have holsters made of other materials, but the leather suits my needs and wants best.
  2. Large mouth bass mode….

Top notch hood latch, though...... Good grief! Look at the expanse of rust between the hood panels. No wonder they separated.
  3. For those of you who like a BIG chainsaw…

Don't know, but it definitely ought to be in the running for the title!
  4. For those of you who like a BIG chainsaw…

Run across one in a pawn shop in Valley, AL that had a 6' bar and chain on it. It also came with a spare 4' bar. If I remember right, it was a Husqvarna 999. I couldn't imagine having to use that thing.
  5. My best friend is a dead man...!

Wow! Brings back memories. Took my first computer class at Tri County Tech in Pendleton, SC. Arnie Lillyhammer was the instructor. He came to TCT straight from the Navy, where he was a part of the early computer age for the USN. Learned on the IBM. Had to boot up with two 5-1/4 floppy...
  6. My parents had a tv like this…

Ted did the 5 minutes ater the top of the hour and half hour just so he'd have his own pages in the TV Guide, separate from all the other networks that scheduled shows at the top and half after the hour. Made it easier to find the WTBS listings in the mag. Smart thinking dude back then.
  7. NAILED IT!!!!!!!…….

There's a Roses in Barnesville, a Roses Express in Newnan and Carrollton. There used to be one just south of the airport in Griffin. A plane over-run the runway and plowed into it sometime in the late 90's. I don't know if that one got rebuilt or not.
  8. So you got tannerite in your fridge 😵😵😵

Man, if he'd angled that thing just a little right, he'd whacked himself with a tree and refrigerator door! That's one lucky dude...
  9. So I've put 1900 miles on my truck since I got it a year and a half ago.

At the rate you're going, you'll probably need to worry more about future fuel related problems than oil issues (lol).
  10. Best chainsaw brand

Hard to beat the 'professional' line of Husqvarna's. That's all I have, and ever will have. The 'XP' series of saws is Husqvarna pro line. I now have two, a 372XP and a 550XP. Had a 272XP that was stolen (or sole by my ex wife, one of the many reasons she is now 'EX'). Anywho, the 372XP is...
  11. That’s what she said….

Years ago I had a crew throwing and muddin' sheetrock on weekend church job. They brought their whole family and while the guys worked the women popped the hub caps off the vans and used them to cook the noon meals. Saw horses and plywood made the tables. The kids kept the cooking fires going...
  12. Need Recommendations for Truck Tool Box

Weatherguard and / or Highway Products. Lifetime warranty. Friend of mine had a hinge go bad after many years of construction use (and abuse). The Weatherguard rep came out to his job site and replaced his lid, hinge, both locks and both struts for FREE. That's the best customer service I've...
  13. Cast it into the earth from whence it came.

Use mine mixed with a little diesel fuel to treat my wood trailer beds.
  14. Who do you guys use for car insurance?

I learned years ago to shop around every 6 months or so for quotes. Insurance companys compete for business. I've had coverage with most of the popular ones. I'll change carriers in a heartbeat if the rates are better. Nothing on my or my wife's driving record. We've both had the 'safe...
  15. Item Relisted! FS Ruger Mini-14 Ranch Rifle .222 1985 Rare

Ruger set out in the 80's to sell Mini 14s in Countrys that didn't allow military calibre rifles to be owned by non-military people. The .222 calibre filled that niche. You have a nice one. And the box is a neat bonus. GLWS!
  16. Item Gone: FS Browning A-Bolt 7mm Remington Magnum

    Wish it was a lefty!
  17. Bait collection.

We used to put the lawn sprinkler in the edge of the woods and water the ground for about 15 minutes right as it got dark the night before a fishing trip. After turning the water off, we'd head into the woods and use a Coleman fuel lantern to find the worms. The worms would come up top to keep...
  18. Why is Ozuna still here???

Reminds me of what Ted Turner wanted to do decades ago; Base salary all around with incentives added for performance throughout the season. That never panned out for Ted (lol).
  19. Yep. That’s me doing drywall

Cut to resemble, pound to fit, and paint to match! :thumb:
