  1. Does your bug out set up include?

After years of thinking about it and I have property I could bug out to 2 plus hours from Atlanta. I've decided thay I would stick it out at my home in Atlanta area. Everything I need to survive is at my home. Very few things are at my camp. My family and friends are close by at home. All my...
  2. Night vision goggles.

Dont know why you care but yes I was si . Lol
  3. Night vision goggles.

Good Night vision is expensive any way you look at it. So if somebody's on a budget they should get a monocular because its 1/2 the price of binocular night visio . But if you want to know how one eye feels when things are happening fast. Try and play basketball with one eye closed and then...
  4. Night vision goggles.

I own Pvs 7 and Pvs 14 and Pvs 18 They are all really good units and basically do the same job. Where they can differ a Drastically is what gen tube they have in them. I would by a gen 3 at a minimum and if you can afford it by the film less gen 3. The difference between gens is how well they...
  5. Possible causes of death post collapes

    1. The first to die will be those who depend on medication for survival ( especially elderly, special needs and diabetics Etc) probably 25% of the population with months 2. Those deaths including lack of food hygiene clean water and medical treatment Etc will take plus fighting over resources...
  6. SHTF chest rig/plate carrier

Though I agree on the premise of probably never using body armor and plates. The same could apply for life insurance or disability insurance or air bags in a car etc. You'll probably never need it but when you do its to late to do anything about it if you don't have it. So I hope I never use...
  7. whats your fail zero rifle?

So the answer to the question is ( it depends!). But if I were to say which rifle I have that is the least problematic it would be any bolt gun. If I was in a big our situation I would want my Daniel defense v7 ar. Reliable and compact and accurate. high volume of fire and easily obtained ammo...

I love 308. Gets the job done up close and is awesome at distance. Great sll around hunting round. And ammo will never be and issue. 9. Out of shape people are going to die first?

Man when I started this thread I didn't envision a bunch of couch potatoes defending there chips and salsa at all costs! Are you kidding me you can't even get health or life insurance when you are grossly out of shape! I'm not saying everyone needs to be a navy seal fit. But there is a...
  10. Out of shape people are going to die first?

Man that was a sprited debate! I like it!!! You boys got some fire in the belly!! i will say I'm more than a little disturbed about the mentioning of canabalism over and over again. Haha
  11. Out of shape people are going to die first?

So I find it almost comical. The other day I am at a guys house and he is 60 or so and can barely go up and down stairs because of his weight. He is showing me his gun collection and bragging about his bug out bags etc. And how he's going to make it when the shtf and everybody else is screwed...
  12. Military sniper or civilian long range shooters ( who is better)

But it's not 50 50. Look at competition shooting results and it is not the army guys who win half the time. Just like they don't win the marathons or ultimate fighting championships. I'm just saying I think most people think because you are and official army trained whatever you must the the...
  13. Military sniper or civilian long range shooters ( who is better)

Man I'm glad this topic has brought some spirited debate. I would like to say I have a great appreciation for anyone who fights for my rights and or life. Military police or politically. I don't mean to diminish military snipers prowess I have just found as a general rule through experience...
  14. Military sniper or civilian long range shooters ( who is better)

So I have been watching the us army sniper qualifying course in the history channel. And I'm not to impressed by the requirements to be a us army sniper. I know they are better at many other aspects is combat etc than civilians but on pure shooting accuracy I would put my money on a competition...
