  6. What’s a good mid priced 30cal suppressor

    I normally hunt with a Silencerco Harvester and it works fine and is hearing safe. I would have gotten the Omega; but it was just coming out and not readily available. If you were closer, I would let you try it out as I shoot it on my 7.62x39 and 308 AR's.

    22 integral is stupid quiet. Mine keeps bulk ammo subsonic. 22lr, 30 cal, 45a p will over most of what most people shoot. Just remember you can go smaller; but not larger projectiles. Pressure comes into play from pistol to rifle.

    Yes, it is worth the wait. Just make sure to buy what you want and don't worry about the price since it is basically a lifetime purchase. I have 5 and still want a couple more.

    The issue for mine seems to be the extra slide speed running suppressed. Gun normally doesn't have any issues running unsuppressed with the slide moving slower. Sounds like what may be happening with your guns.

    One other thing that it might be is the mags. I know that I have a Browning Buckmark that when I shoot suppressed it will do something very similar. I found out that one mag has a weaker spring and not getting the ammo up fast enough to strip cleanly every time. The slide will be almost...

    This might sound stupid; but have you tried greasing/oiling your barrel up by the front of the slide. There may be just enough drag that it isn't sliding cleanly with the new barrels and not going completely back into battery. Another drag point might be how the mags are moving in the barrel...

    Get a 22lr can, 45 cal pistol can, and a 30 cal rifle can will cover just about everything most people.shoot. Buy once, cry once is actually good advice.

    I just use plyers. Most of the time can comes off and leaves the mount. See to happen most often hunting due to temp changes.

    WalMart sells a red taco pot holder that works also. I also got a large silicone tray to set them in while they cool.

    I have an old AAC TiRant 45 that I use. Obsidian was my replacement plan at a later date after shooting one several years ago.

    Also know that ammo makes a difference on sound levels. Start buying subsonic ammo now and make sure your gun doesn't have an issue with it. You might be able to find a couple of members with different cans you could try depending on where you live.
