I agree, it is an ATF Rule and not a law. I wonder what percentage of “Pistol With Braces” owners actually followed the ruling and actually filed the Form 1 to make their guns legal under the new ruling. I did I wanted to have a legal firearm even though my pistol turned into a SBR by the new...
I had the option of taking the brace off or installing a different upper with a 16”+ barrel to make it legal. I chose to keep the brace on it, register it which also made it legal. I bought it with a brace as a pistol now I have a registered SBR
I registered mine too. I was apprehensive at first about doing it, but ignorance of the law doesn’t make it legal. I am a 100% law abiding gun owner and will comply with the law. 😊
I’m wondering how many registered their AR Pistol with a brace as a SBR during the Biden amnesty period? I have heard many stories that the AR Pistol law is on hold. Any information on the current status of law would be appreciated.
Received the email approval on the Spikes Tactical SBR this morning. It was also submitted on March 23 and was apparently given to a different examiner than the the Ruger. Two weeks difference in approvals. I’m sure they have a boatload of these Form 1’s to review as I’m sure a lot of people...
Seems like it was just a couple of days. After they let you know your e form is ready to upload you just log into your SS Account and follow the online prompts. To complete the upload of the e form you will be directed to log into your ATF e forms account to complete the filing. It’s a pretty...
I ran the Odessa a few days ago with the Dead Air Fixed Mount Adapter. It ran like a top on my Ruger PC Charger. Tried it on my threaded G19 a few the 19 would not cycle with it. Anxious to know if it will run with the Hansohn Brothers FBS.
I finally made contact with them. They verified that the baffles had been reduced from 11 to 10 with no negligible difference in suppression. They did tell me the manual has not been updated.
I took it out to the range today for a first run. I used it with the fixed barrel adapter and...
Thanks, they are using an outdated manual which still indicates it has 11 baffles. Dead Air's response to my concern:
"We stopped shipping those suppressors with an 11th baffle because the 11th baffle did not reduce the sound anymore than the 10th baffle did. Unfortunately the manual is still...
Dead Air did not have the 1/2 x 28 Fixed Mount in stock. I found one (Dead Air Product) at Capitol Armory in Texas. It's on the way. $79.00 a bit pricey in my opinion.
Thanks, I am planning on using it with multiple platforms. Beretta M9A4, Glock 19, Ruger 9mm PC Charger and a Ruger PC Carbine 9 mm. I appears that when using the Beretta and Glock that the booster assembly will need the piston and spring and when using the Rugers (fixed barrels) I will need...
