Do not get a combo. They suck. Both are extremely handy to have. Hard to say which you will need first. You obviously will need both. I work with lathes and mills every single day. Good quality equipment is hard to beat. -

CNC wood carving?
i've been debating getting one as well. a bit overwhelming. I build random wood stuff as a hobby and would like to venture into the CNC Router arena. Currently been building tables and cabinets and beds and they just take up so much room in my garage I can really only do one thing at a time. -

Spend 15 bucks and put a carb kit in it. Or spend 30 for a new carb. It's easy to tell if the lines were the problem. They will be tacky and stick together if you squeeze them with your finger. -

Don't be too quick to throw echo under the bus. Any small engine is going to fail with ethanol gas in it. I was a certified small engine mechanic in about every brand there was. I worked at howard brothers for 6 years. Silver Stihl certified. And I forget the certification for Echo. You could... -
