Yep. Mine was 25 years ago. Mine is a 1998 model. Hundreds of squirrels under its belt. The front of the forearm is all marked up from propping it up again the kitchen door shooting squirrels in the backyard.
I had one. It’s was the extra tall one. I don’t remember exactly but I think it was 22-24ft. It was high!! Good stand though. Comfy. Never had an issue with it
We went to Wyoming to hunt P dogs a couple years ago. So much fun!
I brought a couple bolt guns but mainly shot the AR’s.
A buddy brought a 17hmr and wet shot the close ones out the car window with that
Nope. Went back for another hour and a half. Hole must have gotten plugged when he bedded down cause there was zero blood after that. I’m going to go back today and look for buzzards. Haven’t lost a deer in years.
I'm planning on using my 1894 marlin in 45 colt for deer this year. I load a 250gr xtp around 1200fps. should be right at 800ft/lb energy. That should be plenty right?
I've shot a few with my 357 1894. 158gr xtp around 1550fps. Deer all died pretty quick. Thats right at 800ft/lb too
I know everyone doesn't have the time for it but ever since I started processing my own, I get more meat and seems to be a better quality product. I also wrap it up like I want for the freezer and label it! My equipment was paid for on the 2nd deer
