    Yep. Mine was 25 years ago. Mine is a 1998 model. Hundreds of squirrels under its belt. The front of the forearm is all marked up from propping it up again the kitchen door shooting squirrels in the backyard.

    Nope. Went back for another hour and a half. Hole must have gotten plugged when he bedded down cause there was zero blood after that. I’m going to go back today and look for buzzards. Haven’t lost a deer in years.

    I’ve always been a H110 guy when loading my Lever guns. Thought I would do a max charge of unique and have a load I enjoy shooting.

    I'm planning on using my 1894 marlin in 45 colt for deer this year. I load a 250gr xtp around 1200fps. should be right at 800ft/lb energy. That should be plenty right? I've shot a few with my 357 1894. 158gr xtp around 1550fps. Deer all died pretty quick. Thats right at 800ft/lb too

    I know everyone doesn't have the time for it but ever since I started processing my own, I get more meat and seems to be a better quality product. I also wrap it up like I want for the freezer and label it! My equipment was paid for on the 2nd deer
