  1. Best Invention since sliced bread

If you want cheap, effective, and consistent, look at the World's Finest Trimmer.
  2. What scales (balance) are y’all using?

It all depends on expectations and needs. I don't load bulk ammo. Don't have the time. I'm also not a good enough handgun shot, nor shoot the style, where a 2% difference in powder charge will likely show in end results. I load for precision and consistency. The more variables that I can remove...
  3. What scales (balance) are y’all using?

Maybe back her down I bit. Lol. Surprised to see blown primers at 42.5 though. Where did pressure signs start showing?
  4. Rifle load development methods?

No. Follow the data. Ocw. Ladder. Pick your poison. I prefer ocw. But, with both, the goal is to hit a velocity node where different charge weights run about the same velocity. That also equates to consistency in changing temps, which is the ultimate goal. Follow the data for charge weight...
  5. What scales (balance) are y’all using?

That's really slow. You should be minimum 2750. Can probably get to over 2800, but do your workup. Those are load book numbers. Very neutered. Factory Hornady 140 eldm ammo tends to run over 2700, if not 2750. You aren't getting any of the benefits or anywhere near the BC of that round as slow...
  6. Rifle load development methods?

OCW. .3 increments. Magnetospeed 100% pay attention to the data, not the group. Load to the middle of a node. Then seating depth in .02 increments. I start 4 tho off. I don't care to load for jamb if I don't have to, and with the bullet designs I run, generally find somewhere around 10 to...
  7. What scales (balance) are y’all using?

Holy **** you're running slow. Waaaaay too slow for that pill.
  8. Very Impressed

Stainless pin tumbling is the way.
  9. Spent primers????

Throw em in the trash. Or homeless people. Or tailgaters
  10. NEED EXPERIENCED INFO, 65 GR. SIERRA GAME KING

And if you want to try multiple powders, just run a ladder test on each. 10rds per powder is all you really need
  11. NEED EXPERIENCED INFO, 65 GR. SIERRA GAME KING

Varget. You'll likely end up around 25 grains, but do your load dev
  12. NEED EXPERIENCED INFO, 65 GR. SIERRA GAME KING

Well, considering that we don't know what cartridge this is for, no one can provide a powder rec. The rec that was provided was single base, ie, temp stable, and then do your standard load work-up. That's about as precise as any rec can go with the info provided. And would go for any cartridge.
  13. no primers for 2022

How much do you shoot? How long do you want to be prepared for?
  14. no primers for 2022

The new plant in TX should help alleviate the stress. At least to a degree. From what I'm, seeing, quality seems to be on par with FGM offerings.
  15. Beam scales

There are potential pitfalls of all measures. Having an accurate check scale that I use in conjunction with my primary scale and thrower serves as my backup.
  16. Beam scales

Nah. Buy quality and have a backup.
  17. Rare Powder Find Outdoor Depot Gainesville

Right?! And right across the street from GGS!
  18. Rare Powder Find Outdoor Depot Gainesville

That's not awful right now. But $25 or so is "normal."
