Saw this on the news this morning. Made me want to exercise my right to defend myself by preventing a violent crime.
"But officer, she was trying to use my own flag as a weapon against me...I swear..."
I am with the guys who question who actually ends up retaining possession of the gun. Let's put it this way: Let's say a good and dear friend from out-of-state knows you want a certain gun. He calls your local gun store, pays for the gun, and then tells you to go pick up your present. If the...
I sleep about 2 feet from 5 rounds of 00 buckshot in a Mossy 500A. Somebody please try to break into my house at 2 AM...I'm more often than not just falling asleep then.
Never, ever fire at what you cannot see. Even if it is kicking in the door. Stand there patiently, and blast its ass when the first foot hits the floor inside your home. Shoot to kill...not to wound and detain. There will be a police investigation, but dead men don't talk so the story will...
Amen to that. They really can't drive.
And all I can say about the bill is that is it long overdue. Yeah...our safety requirements are lax. Not as far as I can tell...they screen your background fairly well when you apply for the GFL. What does SC do that is different?
They were sued by Bloomberg, caved in and changed their name. Whenever the business has a name change, their record with the ATF starts fresh.
From then on they started having a bunch of BS rules and went downhill.
What used to be Wild West Traders/Hot Shots in Marietta...
I quit going there when they refused to let my then 13YO daughter shoot her .22 pistol in the range. It was right after a boy shot his father in the leg with a pistol...but I felt it wasn't right that they treat everyone as though they...
I know of one particular range that enforces this rule on their property. They have cameras all around the building, and will ask you to leave the premises if you try to do a private deal in the parking lot. I no longer go to that range or the attached store because of this (among other reasons).
Insanity...futility...one in the same as far as I am concerned. You can't change another person's mind once they set it, so trying to do so is futile.
OK...so I am an arrogant know-it-all. Hardly...and you hardly know me, so that statement doesn't even offend me. It just seems that you know...
Please search on here looking for threads on places that don't allow firearms. There is a whole thread somewhere that lists out the places that don't allow carry. Now...if you had posted something in that thread about the Apple Festival being one of those places - great, we'd all appreciate...
As far as I am concerned...the militant 2A guys are about the same as the militant anti-2A guys. Both sides want to force their belief on someone else. It is our right to carry...so I choose to do so discreetly so as not to attract attention. It is the property owner's right to abolish guns...
Nothing in that whole scenario sounds illegal. It's done quite often with mergers/sales/acquisitions. I'm not saying it's ethical or even remotely fair, but I don't think it is illegal. I've seen it where all employees are outright terminated during a transfer of ownership.
I'm no lawyer...
OC or CC is your choice. Allowing you to OC in a privately-owned business is the store owner's choice. If you choose to OC...you force their hand, one way or another. In an inner city liquor store...yeah, I can somewhat see some validity to their position...especially in that part of town...
