I broke contact with the guy. This is now a hypothetical discussion. I am interested in what legally constitutes a straw purchase given the circumstances I originally stated.
He said he owns multiple homes in GA. I'm not going to deal with this guy, guns are a hot topic right now and I wouldn't be surprised if it's an ATF/MSNBC sting.
That's what I said. I told him that I will gladly hold onto the gun until he is back in GA and can show me a GADL. I was more curious of the legalities in transferring the gun to his son, considering the fact that I knew it was ultimately going to the father.

Why don't we take some radar guns away from some cops and post them in a school or any public gathering that's in a "gun free zone." It seems like a poor allocation of preexisting resources and not a need for armed teachers or a call for new legislation.
