I personally use the Competition electronics model. Had it for over 5 years now.
My USPSA match uses Pact III’s. I don’t care for those. If you don’t have a manual next to you, they are a pain to change par times, delay, etc. but, I’ll make you a deal on one if you want. I’m going to switch...
Cherokee requires it. Pretty sure Riverbend does too. Atleast to join initially.
Cherokee is about a 3 hour wait and not accepting new applications last I checked
Thats a great tip. I have started doing this as well. I limit my practices to 150-200 rounds the past 6 months. I like getting in more reps without using ammo.....especially since I don't dryfire at home anymore
@cmshoot Do you set yourself a par time for this? Anytime I've done this I do it from the holster and set a par time of 5 seconds for 6 shots(straight out of the Ben Stoeger Dry fire book). its a tough drill
They all kinda suck accuracy wise. I assume that something like your class would be massively over there head and capability.
Also didn’t want it to be all tactical Timmy. Just a basic self defense class. They won’t listen to me. I’ve offered to help multiple times
I've got some buddies that want to take a self defensive type pistol class. They are all experienced gun guys but could use some help with their pistol skills. Just drawing the gun, shooting from cover, reloads, basic accuracy stuff. 3-4 guys.
Outdoor range only
Nothing super combat...
im thinking of trying out the next match at Cherokee Gun Club in august. I think it's an all classifier match?
I want to shoot my Glock 19 in CCP. Anyone wanna go or give me some pointers? I think I have all the gear. Proper holster and mag pouches and 5 mags.
Any one shoot this? They have a match this coming sunday and i thought I might check it out. Any tips? How many magazines should I bring? Do I need to sign up as a Steel Challenge member before I can shoot?
