they did cut down bayonets at the beginning of ww2 to use on the garand so it's a possibility
does the groove go all the way to the end? if it does then it was a cut down 1903 bayonet

I was recently given a shrade lb7 folding knife with the serial number P513xx on the bolster top(xx replaced real numbers on it).
i noticed it seems more heavy duty then any buck 110 i have owned or seen, and the blade seem s to have less wobble. why would they put a serial number on a knife...
i do my new knives like that to see how sharp they are form the factory and if i need to make them sharper. if it can't shave my arm then its not sharp enugh
