    Not how it works. They process one crate at at time then pull from it. That is why some people get a choice of grades, while others do not. All a matter of what is in that particular box.

    A user on the CMP1911 forum has a Clawson's book and may be able to tell where your 1911 was shipped. Mine left the factory in early 1945 then to either Fort Bragg or the Texas National Guard in 1949.

    Picked up this morning at Autrey's. 1944 Remington Rand Frame with IMI USG replacement slide and barrel. Barrel is chrome lined. Markings show this was rebuilt 04/87 in Anniston, AL (very ugly stamp job :grey:) Ran 70 or so rounds of Blazer 230 gr Ball through with a variety of magazines...
