Not sure how good the hospitals are now. They all seem short of staff. My last stay at Kennestone they had stuff on my chart that was incorrect. Nurse gave me wipes to clean myself, but put them where I couldn't reach them. Piedmont has a new cardiovascular building that I want to check into.
We have a couple of appointments, but not wanting open heart, it's pretty much the only option. She had an echo in May at Kennestone and they weren't worried about it, but two weeks ago another showed the valve was bad. She's 78, so it really worries her.
Man down the street battled multiple infections after a trach.
Wife's a retired nurse and her favorite saying is they will kill you if they can. Don't want it coming true.
Wife has a heart valve that's real bad. Anyone have experience with a TAVR procedure?
She doesn't want open heart and doesn't want to go to Kennestone after her last experience there and mediocre reviews.
