Caught this at the country club on my old beater rod I keep in my office. Never really gave much thought to green sunfish, but this one sure was pretty, maybe had some interbreeding with the shell crackers? -

Yep, definitely thought about that, the adjustable crane that fits to the tracks and holds the transducer was another idea, but alot of the reviews say it breaks after 4-5 uses or is very flimsy. My perception has a cutout for a transducer, that one was easy! -

Sorry, busy Here are the best I got right now. Used zip ties on the holes on top of the transducer, ran them around the outside of the scupper plug, ran the cable through a drilled hole in the scupper. It can be taken on and off relatively easy, just have to redo the zip ties. But my kayak stays... -

I watched one about a dyi scupper hole mount. Took me 20min and I made one out of an extra scupper plug, a grommet and 2 zip ties. Didn’t cost a dime. Just needed some inspiration -

Thanks for the info, I booked a spot at James Floyd state park, my son and I will kayak fish there and drive to rocky mountian PFA as well, as it’s close by. I would stay at the PFA but I believe the camping is first come, and I don’t want to make that trip not knowing if a spot is or isn’t... -
