  1. Lapping Scope Rings

Thanks! I will close this discussion since it has been covered in the other post. No need to rehash the same thing over and over again.
  2. Lapping Scope Rings

Who does it and who doesn't? I have never thought about it in years past, but I'm about to swap around some scopes on a few different guns of mine (bought some new scope rings as well) and wanted to get opinions of others. Is the process worth the rewards or should I do as I usually do and...
  3. Loctite

That's good info to know!! Thanks for the insight. I will let everyone know how it goes. Will be glad to get this one behind me, especially if I can do it w/o destroying his gun!
  4. Loctite

    Couldn’t agree more!!
  5. Loctite

To be honest, I cannot tell anything that is extra special on this gun that someone else could have done. My guess is the guy took the gun apart to clean it and when he put it...
  6. Loctite

Thanks, I’ll be giving that little trick a try tonight!!
  7. Loctite

Yeah, I tried the soldering iron deal last night. Thinking I didn’t give it enough time cause I didn’t have luck with it. Yep, got the correct size Allen wrench.
  8. Loctite

He doesn’t know, but I can not break the loose. Guess I’ll break out the heat gun and try not to destroy the synthetic stock. Almost did that last night but decided against it.
  9. Loctite

My neighbor dropped off his Rem 700 for me to adjust the trigger for him. When he dropped it off he informed me that the last person who worked on it for him put Loctite on the bolts that hold the action in the stock. Looks like he has almost stripped them out trying to loosen them himself...
  10. First time Rit dying grips

...I see a rifle stock in my turkey fryer pot in the not too distant future?!
  11. First time Rit dying grips

That’s cool man! Any worries of the die coming off while you run the gun with sweaty hands? You know my love for all things FDE, I can see me taking advantage of this trick!
  12. AR lower assembly issue

The full auto selector would not cause issues with a std semi auto fire control group.
