    I have a 9mm AR that I'm changing the handguard on. New handguard means new barrel nut. Is there a torque spec or adequate "rule of thumb" for a barrel nut on a pistol caliber carbine?

    Have you broken it down and looked at it? The 42 spring is a little tricky but there are youtube videos that make it pretty clear.
