  1. Savage Axis bolt help

Installed a lift kit in it today, 100 times better now!!
  2. Savage Axis bolt help

I’ve been working it while watching tv, I ordered a lift kit, so we will see if that helps.
  3. Savage Axis bolt help

So I just picked this Axis II .308 up. It’s a cheap entry level bolt gun, I know I shouldn’t expect it to be silky smooth but the bolt on this thing when cocking it is super stiff/hard to manipulate. Obviously it’s not “hard” but I would expect to be able to reload it without having to come off...
  4. Magpul Zhukov Stock Worth It?

It was pretty easy for me. The original wooden stock was a little tight but not to the extent @letusbuyyourcar is talking about.
  5. Disassembling a 22/45. Gun won't fire. I can't remove the mainspring housing. Gun #2

These little boogers are a pain in the ass. I changed a bushing in one once and that was the first and last time I took it apart. You tube is your best bet though.

  7. C3 Billet Lower - Stuck Buffer retaining pin

Maybe so, everything else fit fine on my lower and it mates up to my VLTOR Upper just fine. For me it was as simple as getting a new pin from a different LPK and it fit perfect.
  8. C3 Billet Lower - Stuck Buffer retaining pin

I have a C3 billet enhanced lower and had this problem. Although I think it had more to do with the LPK, the first LPK I used was a PSA and the buffer pin got stuck also. I got it out and used a CMMG and it fit just fine.
  9. Ruger 22/45 Lite Bushing replacement

I'm going to be replacing the hammer bushing on my 22/45 Lite with a MKII Bushing and I've been reading a little bit about it and it seems like it could be a PITA. Have any of y'all done this conversion yourselves? I'm pretty good with working on stuff but I've always heard these Rugers can be...
  10. A trifecta of lever action projects - time to get working

I like that Trapper. People don't give lever guns enough credit these days.
