    You need to add about $100 to that for most of them I am seeing. I don't know of any Aero Precision hand guards that are less that $140 or so. Average is about $189.

    They are nice enough I guess. Most are a little fat for my taste. I like a slimmer hand guard myself.

    Palmetto State Armory. Aero does make similar but they are larger in diameter.

    So with the cylinder in closed position can you hold back the release and get it to fire? If so then sounds like possibly the pin on the end of the release is broken (or worn) or the one in the end of the ejector rod is worn or missing not pushing the cylinder release back far enough?

    I have had pretty good luck finding a torx bit that is slightly bigger and tapping it into the allen head. I have remove a lot of them that way.

    As near as I can tell you are correct. I would try calling or contacting them and asking them to send you a Fedex or UPS label instead.
