Who put the screws in? They shouldn’t be that hard to get out unless somebody put red locktite on them
If they are you might have to put a little heat on them to get them out.
I shoot brux and Bartlein barrels
If I had a barrel that I had to hand lap myself after receiving it I would send it back and if it didn’t shoot good I would definitely send it back.
The only barrel that I had that wouldn’t shoot good was a Shilen.
Don't know exactly what you want to know. You should have asked these questions to the person that you got the rifle from.
Douglas barrels are match grade barrels and usually when somebody does a barrel swap on a 700 action they true the action up.
The scope you got are quality made optics...
Does anybody know of a AR smith around the Smyrna area that can get a castle nut loose on a Daniel Defence. I have a wrench but it must be spiked because I cant get it loose.
Didn't realize you had one of there carbon barrels. I thought it was there stainless barrel in the heavy profile, thats why I said it wouldn't be a good hunting rifle because of weight. With that being said it would make a great hunting rig. I use either a 24 or 26 inch barrel on my target rigs.
