I’ve heard Dawson forest is got a good many of birds. I’ve never hunted it before

They gobbled like crazy at daylight and got on some hens after that. When I was leaving I walked up 2 monster gobblers in full strut. I backed up and tried to call them to me but they pulled a slick move and went down in the thick stuff and never came out.
