Not trying to diss 1911s but everybtime I see one of these “1911s are awesome!” threads I laugh. I’ll bet that most 1911 fan boys are running around with guns so tight that JMB would have a conniption fit if he were alive to see them... which puts us right back in Glock territory. Point is, 1911s were originally intended to be battle weapons, just like Glocks are now.

I don't know about you boys, but I've always carried the equivalent of a 1911 in my britches.
However, I've always suspected that some on here are G26 or G43 sort of boys.

cmshoot - I think there was a failure on the 1/1024th part that some folks just didn't get. With that being said, I am at least 1/1024th or better related to JMB (not in direct lineage but many generations deeper) but I won't submit my DNA to validate.
