Got a peak of big boy yesterday. My only shot was to his spine or his face and then a little small 6 or 8 that was with him smelled me and ran. I'm hoping for one more shot today. Good luck

Well maybe not that cold. I thought it was supposed to be in the 20s. Guess not.
Yeah maybe they will be hungry enough to move. People about 20 minutes east of us in Alabama swear the rut is on. I figured it's too late for secondary rut or action but.... just maybe
Will be going out around 6:50. I’m going to hunt hard in 2019 like I did in 2018. I’m only hunting trophy paychecks and will leave the little pay checks for the rookies. It’s looking like another great day of hunting! Good luck all!!
Struggled to get up out of bed this morning, but I’m up now. Gonna put me a little later arriving to the stand than I had hoped but I should be there and settled in next 20ish mins. Good luck to all!

looks like the rain may hold off till late afternoon (when the deer usually show up)
bad thing is the wind is from the East and most of the Deer are to my West

Out here in the wind. Not to bad though. Seeing a few deer out here so it makes it even better
Wind is not too bad here. Although it seems to be getting worse the later it gets, it still comes and goes and is blowing in my face and that’s what I need in this stand. Haven’t seen anything yet.
