Did not hunt today.Good luck all.
Sitting back in my hardwoods blind. Saw two does a little while ago, but too far for the compound bow. 38 degrees this morning. And to think, four months ago I was in this stand when it was 98 degrees.
Heck, it was 78 here two weeks ago (well...just for a day, but still). LOL Been some crazy weather this year. Good luck out there, sounds like a good place to hunt.
Not a thing today
This wind is killing me. Gonna get down at 11 and eat some lunch then bring ground blind out here Incase it starts raining this evening.
Well gang, thinking I may call it here in next 30 mins. Been a quiet morning here with no movement. Yesterday was my wife’s birthday and we are meeting family for supper tonight to celebrate so this will it for me today. I’ll be back tomorrow for the last day though. Just a side note, either the boys at Ft Stewart are paying war games this morning or I hear the occasional rumble of thunder off in the distance from time to time. Well, good luck to those of you continuing to hunt this morning and the ones getting to make it out for the afternoon. Be safe and have fun out there.
3 of us went hunting on the property today. The "guest" shot a nice doe at about 5 yards. It literally stepped out in front of his ground blind. Brother and myself didn't see a thing.
Brought my bro-in-law to my work so he could hunt while I worked. He hasn’t shot anything all year. Saw 4 does but no clear shots.
Bust for me this am. Will get ready and head out til dark shortly.
