1/14 Big Game Report

Yep they're safe and they know it. I was out walking the dog this morning and these flooded into a common area near the house to celebrate the end of deer season. There were more around than what's pictured. This was my dog's first experience with deer and he had that look like "Shouldn't these dogs be on a leash?"

One was trying to hide behind a garbage can lol

I almost smacked a deer on dallas hwy last night around 7:15pm. Good size 6 pt ran in the middle of the street and stood there while I came 5 feet from hitting him going 65mph.

They seemed to be coming out of no where. At one point I was worried about getting charged and trampled. I guess that would be a fitting end for a deer hunter.

Revenge served up by the deer family mourning their loss...LOL!!! I was on the way home from the deer processor a few years ago and a deer jumped right into the middle of my lane. No time to react and I hit it square in the middle of the truck. It went all the way under and out the back. Destroyed my grill, bumper, radiator and trans cooler. To this day I believe they were getting me back.

One thing about growing up in Pennsylavania.
If you didnt get a deer while hunting you had a good chance of hitting one while avoiding pot holes.
