Shot a pig before we even got in the stand. Gonna let him sleep until 830, maybe his crew will come out to check on him.

Very windy in Hancock too. Bowhunting from my brushpile ground blind today. Looking for a doe.

Saw a small doe about a half hour ago. Never came anywhere near bow range. I'm done for the morning. I've had enough of these 15+mph wind gusts in my face.

I'm in the stand, but this wind has me second guessing my decision. But its my last weekend for the season, so here I sit.

I always ground hunt when the wind is whipping. I'd find a small ditch sit in there (if the ground is dry) and be as still as possible , killed several that way.

There are no low areas around here that arent full of water, much less a dry ditch to sit in.
