Just came out of woods. Didn’t even see a tree rat. Too damn windy here in Loganville. Will head out again this afternoon. Need to bust one more for the freezer.

I love the cva’s. I have a few but my “go to” is the scout in 45/70

Went this morning with Niece's husband and it was COLD and WINDY on the lake. Neither of us saw a thing; but I think he enjoyed the time in the woods. Afterwards, we shot a little and I let him shoot my hunting AR47 both suppressed and unsuppressed so he knew what the fuss was about.

They are highly underrated rifles. I have a .243, .35 Remington Scout V2s, a .223 Hunter, and an Apex with a 243 and 308 barrel.

I’ve got the cva 20 gauge slug.. scoped and dead on out to 100 yards and better.. I never use it though

Wife bought me a heated motorcycle vest that I got to try out this morning sitting in a stand. Nice change not to have a cold neck and back sitting in a stand. Of course, the only shots we heard today were the duck hunters right after sun up.
