It is still too damn hot, but I would be out there if I wasn't working.
I'm headed out to the new lease today to have one final look around. I believe I have a nice set up at a safe enough distance from a bedding area.
I won't get to hunt until next weekend, so I am living vicariously through all of you. Aim small, miss small! Whack 'em and stack 'em! Kill 'em and grill 'em!

Taking my oldest out this afternoon. Cant wait.
We've seen a spike and a doe so far. I was hoping my son wanted to shoot the doe (pic below) cause my freezer is empty but he said nope I'm waiting on a big buck. Apparently he saw a picture of a 30 point deer someone had killed in Virginia and he's waiting on something like that. I guess we'll be here a while lol.
