10/18 a.m hunt

I'm going to be set up well before first light overlooking a main trail that leads into a bedding area. I'm hoping that one of the big boys or the cull 6 point that I have on camera wanders within range of my CVA Optima 45. It's going to be a great morning to be out there! Clear skies and 46 degrees at daybreak. Y'all won't hear much from me after first light, so good luck if you are going. Hopefully I get to smoke the woods up a little!
This is the 6 point I'm debating on culling. He was exactly the same last year and was also one of three, decent 6 points that we had on camera.

We'll be headed out first thing. I've got my 13yo playing hooky from home school(he worked ahead begining of this week) so we can hang out in the woods. He's itching to shoot something with last year's birthday present.

Good luck!! Make sure you have a jacket in the morning. I went out yesterday morning thinking it wouldn’t be very cold. I was wrong.. 45 degrees is pretty cold. Lol

I took a vacation day because this weather is perfect. 37 degrees right now. I dream of mornings like this.

Best thing about this cold weather is no ****ing skeeters. They were after my soul on Saturday ans Sunday.
