Heard a couple bucks locking antlers on the ridge to my left.

10 min later this alpha doe came in silently with five other does.
This was the largest of the bunch and the most cautious.
She looked right at me in my tree but didn't spook (thank you leafy camo suit).
She would not stand still and kept moving every time I was gonna take a shot.
Finally gave me a nice broadside on her right side and was cocked a little to the left which is what I like for a heart shot and opposite shoulder devastation.
Let a schwacker fly and she leaped pretty good with an arched back, hit the ground and ran about 40 yards and piled up.
If I could have reloaded I probably could have got the other big doe.
Actually all the does were adults but this was the biggest.

#7 doe for the season.

Congrats! Looks like you might tag out on does this season.

Yeah I might as well being this far along.
There's a brute 7 pointer back there that I'm hoping to nab.
He finally showed up on camera two days ago with a couple does in tow.
He's a feisty one and has tips broken off of several antlers.
