The tree rats are decimating my parent's pecans, and a couple of them have taken residence in their attic, so yesterday while strolling through the pecan trees my best bud took matters into his own hands with the 10/22.

About 50 feet, right off a pecan limb. One shot. DRT.

Thank you. He loves to shoot man. He is only 6 years old, and a beast of a kid, mentally and physically. I am proud, of course, but I am not bragging simply because he is mine. He really is an exceptional boy.

He wants a 10/22 for Christmas. I already have one put away for him. It's a new special edition with the hog carved into the stock...You have seen them, I'm sure, with the different custom stocks from the factory. I bought it a couple of years ago and put it away, never touched. It's a beauty, and he will love it!

Awesome to hear your story. My son started with a 10/22 as well but maybe not as cool as this one.

That's it! He started out on irons and can shoot them well, but he likes the red dot, so I may add one just because...Hey, whatever keeps him shooting!
