10/22 Porn

I like 'em classic. This is my stainless with both the Sporter rifle stock and the carbine stock. That's a Leupold VX-2 3-9x40, a utilitarian tack driver, if there is such a thing! Cheers

Actually, it now has a backpacker stock. I'd like to add a sling stud (for a bipod).
Does anyone know how to disassemble the forestock? There doesn't seem an obvious way, and I'd hate to break it.
(I know I'd have to drill a hole on the shoulder stock to let it assemble).
Mission Accomplished.
The trick (to disassembling the forearm) is that there are two screws.
One is obvious, and one is hidden. There is a round pillar that the barrel sits on. I thought it maybe had a cap, but it's solid. The whole pillar is a plug that pulls out. The second screw is below it.

I drilled a hole where it wouldn't interfere, and installed the stud (M1A stud that I bought but didn't need). Also had to drill a matching hole in the shoulder stock so it can still go together. Hole goes into the first magazine holder, but doesn't interfere with storing a mag.

Still need to get pics.

Stainless Steel top to bottom.
Love you Dad. Miss you every day.
This thing will shoot a gnat off your dog's nuts at 100 yards, that I can tell you with certainty! Especially with Dad running the controls.

I can't even stand to open Dad's safes and see what's inside. I'd much rather he were still here to tell me to stay the hell out of them.
