Anyone got opinions on the Nikon P223 fixed 3x for a 10/22? I posted a Ruger target 10/22 in here and my bro just gave me the p223.
It will serve you well for tree rats and other vermin. Not enough zoom for target stuff but anything else you're good to go.
Sweet! Yeah, so I have a custom NRL .22 with a bushnell DMRII so my precision 300 yard needs are met. I am using this more as an accurate hunting, plinking gun. Does your BDC line up ok once zeroed?
It may not be an exact conversion since it was designed for a much faster bullet but I have found directionally it rocks. The spot on app from Nikon allows you to plug in all the numbers and it will give you the BDC equivalents. Makes sense??
Yeah, I have used that app before. Pretty sweet. Gives new functionality to SFP scopes. Alright, thanks for the advice. I am going to use that scope on the 10/22. I'll probably zero it and work out the dope with the BDC to see where it gets me. Ill post pics when I get it mounted up!
Not familiar with the fixed 3x version. They P223's are fantastic scopes for Chargers.
