I've gone of the deep end with my latest build. Woox Exactus stock, FJ Feddersen Nickle-Bronze receiver and 16.25" threaded bull barrel, Kidd 2-stage trigger and internals. Cheap Tasco scope until I buy something better.
Stunning. That stock is a work of art.
What was the wait time on that beauty?

that's a good looking rifle. I dig the woox stock, didn't realize they were making stocks for the 10/22. The colors are good.

I have not done a deep dive to establish exactly what model this is. It's believed to be a TALO but not clear on that yet. I have seen French walnut Monte Carlo with regular stock but I've never seen a Manlecher. Love the basket weave.

just noticed this. I have a stainless manlicher 10/22 (I've remove the action/barrel and put it in another stock) but Ruger made the "international" version of the 10/22's for a few years. I know mine was a "stock" setup, probably way before there were distributor specials (it's at least 20 years old?). But your stock looks nicer, mine doesn't have the basket weave.

Yes, the stock is pretty. Stupid expensive, but the hearts want what the heart wants. The receiver is really what kicked off the process, though. I thought the bronze was just too cool, and since it was 2x the weight of an aluminum one I had to go with a full target build. I also wanted to highlight the color so kept everything else black. Except the trigger, since red triggers are also cool.

The wait time was mostly me saving my pennies before I pulled the trigger. They actually had the stock available for order when I was ready, so they shipped it out pretty quickly.

The only downside was that my stock was part of a batch that was out of spec. The action wouldn't fit, so they offered to 1) let me return the stock and refund my money; 2) return the stock and receive a new one from the next run (time TBD); or 3) keep the stock at a discount.

I took option #3 and spent some quality time with a dremel tool and some Dykem transfer marking fluid...
