I guess I'll get in. This thread has been great, took me a few days to get through the whole thing. Got some ideas for a build possibly now.
My wife has the green one, my buddy traded me the blue stock so I had to buy a 10/22 to put in it. The barrel was canted when I got it but I couldn't tell until I installed the rail. So that's when I found out how easy these are to work on.

Nice.. I am thinking about the Zombie green for the Boyds I want for a Ruger American. Dig the laminated colors versus the plain non interesting wood Ruger uses these days.

They cant the barrel slightly on purpose. It allows for those necessary curved shots when shooting at groundhogs and other vermin.

The new standard model carbine wood is absolutely horrible. Not even sure what wood it is. Burch I think. Boring. No grain, no character. Some of the distributor models are nice.Non interesting wood??????????? Worried about you
