The new standard model carbine wood is absolutely horrible. Not even sure what wood it is. Burch I think. Boring. No grain, no character. Some of the distributor models are nice
popic popic bought my stock from the gun I put in the blue laminate, hopefully he won't mind posting some pics of his project he used it for
 
Well I bought an Empire metal trigger assembly for $40, but then I realized it's missing the hammer strut assembly so that was another $15.

I guess it's still worth it? I can probably use the hammer strut assembly from the plastic trigger I'm taking out? I didn't think about that lol

I got a wood stock from a guy on eBay for $150 and it’s absolutely beautiful.

Here it is…not bad for $125. I bought one and it’s even prettier in person.

A quality piece of walnut makes a huge difference. Nice one.

I pick this one up after market. Also. Someone put out a nice batch of walnut bull barrel stocks.
