Long face had some age on her but she wasn't real big.
She was real skiddish and knew something was up when others browsed behind trees.
She was broadside but at a slight can't.
I aimed for the shoulder hoping for an opposite penetration of the heart but the arrow turned a bit upon impact and went too far back.
I found her in the creek 50 yards away and half her guts were already outside.
Made for an easy field dress but just a little messy.
Got to hose her out right away.
Need to buy some more bolts and schwackers as I'm all out now.
My arrow cracked upon the pass through.
Third deer taken with the same schwacker but I'm gonna retire that one now as it's beat up.
