Governor's Gun Club has pics on FB of their 100 yard shooting tube being installed. What's the purpose of these? Anyone ever shot through one?

It would cost a fortune to build an indoor range 100 yards long, hence: bury tubes underground fer cheap.
looks like it would be a bitch to past up the targets, lol.
Cuts down on wind conditions, noise, and various other problems setting up a gun. When finished out to the outside range
for wind age and elevation testing. Not sure but may help keep the EXPENSIVE EPA requirements down??

I thought they were suppose to have been finished by now but it looks like they still have a long way to go. Can't wait though. It will be the closest range to me.
